Wooden Speed Boat

The original source image of the boat was taken from a magazine. The magazine article is unknown. The image was scanned and placed into Illustrator. The image was traced with the pen tool. The gradient mesh tool was used for shadow and highlights. Small linear gradients were used to add the lines for the wood grooves. The opacity mask was used for the glass and some shaded areas. Photoshop was later used for the final comp.
